Star-gazing and fine dining
It's no wonder skiers - men and women alike - of every skill level look forward to participating in the American Airlines Celebrity Ski weekend. The event is a rare opportunity to ski, mingle and dine with celebrities and notables from the worlds of entertainment, sports and politics.
Matt Bahr
Besides being a two-time Super Bowl champion, Matt has quite a list of athletic accomplishments under his belt. As a member of the Sports Medicine Council, Matt has encouraged over 800,000 kids to stay in school, off drugs and to find a balance between athletics and academics. Along with Bo Jackson and other Olympic and pro athletes, he has reached over 2 million children and asked them to "Dare to be a Champion," through the GoForIt! Roadshow. Matt and his wife, Maresa, have 3 children.
Jonathan Banks
Jonathan Banks began his film career in smaller, character-actor style roles. Banks became more visible in such roles as the hitchhiker in the 1982 film "Frances" and Algren in 1983's "48 Hours" with Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy. He went onto work with Murphy again in the classic comedy "Beverly Hills Cop." On television, Banks had a memorable role as Frank McPike on the show "Wiseguy," as well as appearances on "Designing Women," "Diagnosis Murder," "Tales from the Crypt" and "The District."
Rolf Benirschke
Rolf was placekicker for the San Diego Chargers for 10 seasons, and retired as the third-most accurate kicker in NFL history. However, Benirschke played while battling Inflammatory Bowel Disease (ulcerative colitis) and underwent surgery midway through his third season. He was named "Comeback Player of the Year,"as well as "NFL Man of the Year." An advocate for people with IBD, Rolf is actively involved in the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America. Married with four children, he enjoys golf, tennis, skiing, roller hockey and scuba-diving.
Carlos Bernard
Named one of People’s 50 Most Beautiful People, Carlos Bernard stars as Tony Almeida in the Golden Globe winning and Emmy nominated FOX television action-drama, 24, and in 2003, Bernard along with his co-stars received a Screen Actors Guild nomination for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. Born and raised in Chicago, Bernard has played a wide variety of characters in film, television and theater. Film credits include The Colonel’s Last Flight, Vegas: C.O.D. and The Killing Jar. Despite his varied roles on the screen, Bernard’s first love remains the theater. This past summer he returned to the stage, performing in the Los Angeles production of Blackout. In addition to acting, Bernard is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys golf, basketball, judo and baseball. In his free time he enjoys the outdoors, especially taking the time out to go fly-fishing. Bernard currently resides in Los Angeles with his family. His wife is actress Sharisse Baker-Bernard.
Kimberlin Brown
Based on her role as Sheila Carter on "The Young and the Restless," Kimberlin has earned the dubious distinction of being daytime's favorite demon. She made soap opera history when she crossed over to a sister show, "The Bold and the Beautiful," and continued to make guest appearances on "The Young and the Restless." She and husband Gary Pelzer are the proud parents of two children. Continue to keep an eye out for Kimberlin in "The Bold and the Beautiful," and in the new HBO series "Six Feet Under."
Gordon Clapp
Following 12 seasons as Detective Greg Medavoy on NYPD Blue Emmy winner Gordon Clapp took his act to Broadway where he was nominated for a Tony in the all-star revival of Glengarry Glen Ross. After appearances in CSI, Damages and Clint Eastwood’s Flags of Our Fathers he coached the Boston Rebels to a Championship in Disney’s The Game Plan and was honored to appear in Taking Chance for HBO. Mr Clapp is currently developing a portrayal of Robert Frost in a one-man play entitled This Verse Business.
Jeff Dunham
Comedian/Ventriloquist Jeff Dunham has been very busy. Dunham's national appeal is reflected in his win of the title "1997 Funniest Male Stand-Up Comic" at the American Comedy Awards. And America is falling in love with his characters, Peanut, Walter and Jose Jalapeno. He and his gang have performed at the HBO U.S. Comedy Festival in Aspen, and have appeared on "The Rosie O'Donnell Show," "The Howie Mandel Show" and "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."
Rod Gilbert
A member of the Hockey Hall of Fame and the all-time scorer in New York Rangers history, Rod is known as "Mr. New York Hockey." And, he is holder of virtually all of the Rangers' team scoring records. As the "Quintessential hockey New Yorker," Rod has fittingly been awarded two of the city's highest civic honors: the Key to New York City and the Bronze Medallion of New York. During his career between 1972 and 1977, he scored at least 75 points five straight years, but the Rangers never made it past the semifinals. His 300th goal made him the first 300-goal scorer in the history of the New York Rangers, and solidified his reputation as one of hockey's great goal scorers.
Grant Goodeve
Grant, actor and musician, is perhaps best known for his past roles as David on "Eight is Enough" and Rick, the bush pilot, in CBS's hit series "Northern Exposure." He was recently voted one of the 'Top 10 Hottest TV Stars of All Time' by TV Guide/Entertainment Tonight. Currently you can catch Grant hosting a syndicated outdoor/travel television show "Northwest Backroads" and a weekly television series on HGTV, "If Walls Could Talk". Grant also continues to add to a growing list of voice-over credits which include a wide array of radio and television commercials, documentaries, animation, and video games.
Greg Grunberg
Greg Grunberg is best known for his roles as Agent Eric Weiss on the hit ABC series ALIAS as well as Sean on the long running WB drama series "Felicity." He was recently seen in the Coen Brothers' film, "Ladykillers," with Tom Hanks and Marlon Wayans, and co-starred opposite Kevin Bacon and Elisabeth Shue in director Paul Verhoeven's thriller, "Hollow Man." In addition Grunberg had a memorable role in "Austin Powers in Goldmember." Grunberg has also had a multiple-episode arc on "NYPD Blue" and recurring roles on both "Melrose Place" and "Flying Blind."

Grunberg currently lives outside Los Angeles with his wife and two young sons.
Dennis Haskins
It's as Mr. Belding, the beloved principal of Bayside High on "Saved by the Bell," that most people know him - the show ran for 12 years on NBC and to 87 countries around the world. Before embarking on his successful acting career, Dennis promoted such entertainers as Tom Jones, Leon Russell, Blood, Sweat and Tears and more. His television credits include stints on "The Dukes of Hazard," "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper," "Magnum P.I.," "The Twilight Zone" and many others. He has recently been seein in "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," "J.A.G," and "Red Water" and has been touring America's colleges giving motivational and entertaining speeches to a generation of students who grew up watching "Saved by the Bell." Dennis lends much of his free time to a number of charitable organizations, promoting the education and welfare of children.
Sandra Hess
Sandra starred in the CBS Eyemark series, "Pensacola: Wings of Gold," now airing on TNT. She portrayed the stunning and strong-willed female fighter pilot, "Ice," and actually flew in a real FA-18 fighter jet. She most recently shot a guest-starring appearance on NBC's "Titans" opposite Jack Wagner and Victoria Principal. After a successful string of commercials, Hess got her first break in the Disney comedy, "Encino Man." When Sandra is not on location, she enjoys spending time working out, doing yoga, and hiking with her dog, Gracie. She's been skiing since she was three, and took first place honors in both the professional and amateur races at a recent celebrity ski classic.
