Last-minute information for registered participants
Ski Mounting
So that you are ready to ski first thing Friday morning, we encourage you to have your skis mounted at your local ski shop before you arrive at Vail. If you would rather have them mounted in Vail, we would be happy to have our Marker reps do that for $30.00. Please note that this may take up to 24 hours.
FedEx Shipping
A few days prior to your departure for Vail, you will recieve a FedEx packet contaning a pre-addressed FedEx label for shipping to the Vail Cascade Hotel along with a baggage tag.
We hope that you choose to use this service provided by FedEx Kinkos and trust it will ease your trip through the airport.
This tag is dated for Monday or Tuesday and if you'll attached it to you ski bag, call 1-800-Go FedEx, they will come and pick it up for you.
Please remeber to place your name on the ski bag and secure your tracking information prior to shipping. This will make it easier for the Bellman at the hotel to get them to your room upon arrival.

American Airlines now allows up to 2 bags per person that are under 50 lbs and under 62".
