You're invited to join us for the 13th Annual American Airlines Celebrity Golf Weekend, which will be held Oct. 4-7, 2007. This premier charity golf tournament is hosted by the Four Seasons Resort Aviara and the Del Mar Country Club, two of the most elegant resorts in Southern California.
Last year's event was a tremendous success, raising over $1 million, and this year's event should surpass it.
The weekend benefits the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, the largest private funder of research in the U.S. solely dedicated to breast cancer. Thanks to the efforts of the Komen Foundation in raising awareness of breast cancer among people from all walks of life, hundreds of thousands of people each year hear how important early detection can be.
American Airlines is honored to have worked with the Komen Foundation for many years, educating women and men on the importance of early detection and providing educational materials to thousands across the country.
