Komen Affiliates / American Sponsorship
American Airlines is proud to sponsor the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure series for another year. Below are the details of our sponsorship.
In 2008 American Airlines will provide:
- 3 American Airlines Travel Award Letters for each race city (detailed below)
- 1 American Airlines Banner (detailed below)
Note: American Airlines has provided a Komen Race Cure schedule to all city General Managers and Sales Promotion representatives. Many cities will organize a race TeAAm and will be advised to contact the Komen Race Affiliate of their participation and register on-line.
Because American Airlines does not have representatives in each city, we will not need a booth or display area and will not have distribution material.
Travel Award Letters are for the U.S contiguous 48 states. The Award Letters are to be used as Race prizes or as designated by the Komen Foundation. These Travel Award letters are issued to the national office of Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in advance. Komen will send each race city their Travel Award Letters from their designated contact at Komen. Please contact your Komen Affiliate Service Representative with any questions regarding the letters. It is very important that you store your Travel Award Letters in a secure place because it is not our policy to replace lost or stolen travel vouchers or travel letters.
American will provide a customized American Airlines/American Eagle Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure banners for you to have for each Race location to be properly displayed at the either the start or finish of each race. Banners need not be returned.
Komen Headquarters provides American Airlines with contact and address information regarding each Race city. If your city has not supplied that information, please send your Race Day Information form to your Affiliate Race Representative at Komen Headquarters.
